Course Description:

Contemporary speculative fiction (both science-fiction and other genres) increasingly deals in issues that have substantial legal implications, or even explicitly legal issues, and does so with surprising detail and sophistication. We will read several great examples of these, discuss the legal issues they raise, and inquire into what insights they offer for current and soon-coming legal and policy challenges.

This course will meet Tuesdays Sept 18, Oct 9, Oct 30, Nov 13, Jan 22  7:00 – 9:30pm at my home.
