General Course Description:
This course surveys the legal concepts and rules applicable to the dominant types of business associations in the U.S. After considering the various factors relevant to choosing the form of legal entity through which to conduct a business, the course will focus on the law of corporations, including the rights and obligations of officers, directors, and shareholders. The course will also introduce students to more advanced business law topics.
