General Course Description:

This course is a comprehensive four-credit introduction to U.S. trademark and unfair competition law. It covers federal trademark, trademark dilution, and unfair competition law. We will also discuss the impact of the Internet on trademark doctrine, the conflicts between trademarks and the First Amendment, Internet domain names, and the right of publicity.
