General Course Description:

This on-campus course is designed for students who wish to develop academic legal writing skills, particularly on international and comparative law topics.  The class will meet in-person on selected Thursdays and students are expected to do significant independent work between meetings.  Students will work together, with the guidance of the professor, to identify and develop topics, conduct research using unique UCLA Law Library materials, develop a draft thesis, create an argument outline, and write a scholarly paper.
